Why Go Custom?

First Impressions & Credibility

You have about 50 milliseconds before someone decides if your site looks credible. That’s not a guess; it’s from Lindgaard et al. in Behaviour & Information Technology. Once they’re in, the halo effect kicks in (same research, reported by Nature): if it looks right, people assume your work is right. That’s why I build with tactile feedback. Click, bump, beep, swing, or sing. A site that doesn’t answer back feels broken.

Why BNDR?

Attention To Detail

Google’s own data says 53% of mobile site visits are abandoned if a page takes longer than three seconds to load. And a one‑second delay? That’s a 7% loss in conversions—Aberdeen Group, backed by Akamai. Right now, 96% of internet users go online via mobile phones (DataReportal Digital 2026). If your site doesn’t load fast and move right, you’re gone before you start.

What's The Point?

It's More Than Meets The Eye

Moderate-speed animations make waiting feel shorter and help you sell more, per Stanford research (Ding & Kyung, 2025). But trust breaks faster. Liferay’s 2026 report (1,000 U.S. adults) found that if your site feels off or weird, 3 out of 4 people leave. One bad setup or strange layout? 61% trust you less. Most people say a reliable website matters to them. If a page looks different, 4 out of 10 think something’s wrong. More than a quarter leave immediately.

QuickResets micro-donation QR code project banner by BNDR LLC, Phoenix AZ

I'm Scott, the guy behind BNDR. What I want to do is fill a forgotten gap for people who fall completely off the radar.

It's a project called QuickResets. A QR code and a single dollar.

You spot a code on a bus stop or a bulletin board. You scan it, give one buck, and that money moves straight to someone in a critical situation. A direct line from you to them.

Early on, a little of that might need to cover the secure payment methods just to keep things running right. The ultimate plan is to have company revenue pay for all that overhead so every single cent goes to the need. We just want to use micro-donations to change things in the community. You start by helping one person.

This is for people whose world just collapsed. Maybe false accusations ruined their reputation overnight. A parent out of groceries. Someone staring down their first night on the street after a string of bad luck. Capable people drowning quietly because they don't know how to ask for help or they think they'll be judged. We aren't just talking about hypotheticals here.

Cash matters right away. But they need more than that. We want to connect them with advocates who can bridge the gap to the right agencies. When life hits you that hard, you don't need a stack of forms to fill out alone. Capable people can spiral from bad to worse in total silence without support. The reset needs to be a path forward.

We're in the building phase now. Working on the payment rail and the landing page so every dollar moves without a detour. Then we'll print the first codes and get them up around Phoenix Metro, Sedona, wherever they make sense. We also need to build up the quiet outreach that finds people before they fall deeper.

Get in touch. Whether you want to contribute or you've built something like this before, I'd love to hear from you.

Information

Frequently Asked Questions.

What's the difference between BNDR and an agency?

Agencies often swap your logo, change your colors, upload your pictures, shift some layout objects around and call it custom. Then they lock you into custom workflows and retainers that are 'sticky.' They can be tough to walk away from cleanly. Every custom site I build from scratch is for your business and belongs to you once it's made, no attachments. The only long-term contract involved is my commitment of quality to you. You get a direct line to the guy who writes the code and makes the changes himself. That's the BNDR difference: You communicate with me directly, not a secretary or project manager.

Do I own the code?

Yes. The site is built uniquely for your business and you own the code and the assets unconditionally. You can move the site to your own host whenever you choose.

How do hosting and care work?

Hosting is $99 a month. I keep the site live and reachable. That fee covers the environment and the uptime, so I take responsibility for the site being online. This is separate from ongoing labor.

What if I need updates or a new page?

Tweaks and maintenance like text changes or image swaps are $79 an hour with a one hour minimum. If you want to add an entirely new interior page to the site, that is a flat $300.
